There is only ONE true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent. This God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has provided the ONLY way of salvation through Jesus Christ His only begotten Son. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self- existent – one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
There is only ONE absolute truth. The Bible is inspired by the breath of God, and is holy, living and infallible. These are the only scriptures that have ever represented the direct authority and general will of God for all of His disciples to follow. All other deities and religious books are an imposter to the ONE God who was from the beginning. His Word has been given to His disciples as a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path in order for us to know Him intimately and learn how to live for Him.
Humankind was created in the image of God to worship and enjoy Him, yet Adam and Eve willfully disobeyed and rejected the Lordship and glory for which we were intended. Because of this, the world is cursed with sickness, corruption, depression, death and suffering. We believe there is a literal devil and his demons and they have the power to influence and tempt but they cannot control or possess the Christian. The true Christian is familiar with spiritual warfare and realizes the keys to victory are found living in the awareness of God’s presence under the shadow of the Almighty. Darkness and the absence of God’s presence are the “wages” and consequences of sin but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Jesus the Messiah, the one and only Savior of the world, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was all man and all God, is the Anointed One and as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords He is the ultimate authority to inaugurate God’s Kingdom on earth. He was crucified and shed His blood for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today in the presence of God the Father making intercession for us and preparing a place for us. Jesus is also dwelling within each of His followers and leading and guiding us in all things.
We are saved by hearing God’s Word and accepting the invitation of grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Those who call on the name of the Lord can be spiritually redeemed through repenting, believing, confessing and receiving Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord for He desires that none would perish. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin and leads us to Christ as we enter the Kingdom and family of God as His sons and daughters. There is no other way to heaven. “Neither is their salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Salvation is instant but also progressive as we continue to learn and develop throughout our spiritual journey. We learn that the self-discipline of sanctification through the power of the Holy Spirit enables us to live holy and equips us to minister within God’s super-natural realm. The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is poured out on believers that they might have power to be witnesses and be used as God’s instruments. We are powerless without His anointing.
The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of sin and the dark-side. The blood of Jesus paid the ransom and has redeemed and set us free from the power of sin. This deliverance from bondage has restored not only the lost fellowship but also the original spiritual state or “position” that was severed in the fall. For those who choose to participate in His blood covenant, they are given the power and spiritual authority to live as overcomers in this life. We call abiding in this intimate relationship with God the divine reality but for all who reject this revelation of truth they are automatically included to exist in the default system. Everyone is born in the default system but Jesus came to save us from it.
The Church is universal in the sense that all who put their faith in Jesus are a part of ONE unified body of Christ. He gave His church the ordinances of Baptism which symbolically represents the dying of the old nature and the creation of the new spirit. Communion symbolically represents the eating and drinking of the body and blood of Christ as a holy vow of covenant spiritual intimacy, devotion and accountability. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by tearing down the works of the enemy, preaching the full-gospel to the world and demonstrating the good news of God’s hope, mercy, compassion, authority and love.
We believe in the full-gospel of God’s Word and that all saints have been called to live in the awareness and fullness of His Spirit. Every Christian is called to be a minister and to be instant “in season and out” while listening to God’s voice. Every saint has been called to study and be prepared to be used as messengers and servants of Jesus. Christians are to lay hands and anoint with oil those who are suffering from generational curses and to set free those who are held captive and all that are sick and suffering. We believe it is God’s general will for everyone to receive physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing and deliverance and that NOTHING is impossible with God.
We do not accept the philosophy that the supernatural gifts and abilities ceased when the original disciples passed away. Rather, we believe that the same false religious spirit of the Pharisees has plagued God’s people and seduced them. This impostor has distorted the faith and passion of the church and influenced her to become lukewarm and carnal. However, Jesus still desires for His people to accomplish the will of the Father in the power and demonstration exactly as He did. Christ was and is our example for all of the spiritual gifts, signs, wonders and miracles and these are still being manifested to the glory of God. Each person has been given a divine blueprint for their destiny and through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit they have every opportunity to serve and please Him and accomplish His specific will.
The Lord God Almighty is the only Blessed Hope of mankind, and we will soon behold the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is coming to rapture His church from this realm (living and dead) before He executes His wrath of judgment upon the earth. There will be a tribulation period of extreme suffering and persecution that is coming but to be totally honest I personally have not agreed upon a certain time frame about the rapture. There are 3 popular opinions including pre, mid and post rapture possibilities but as of this time I can say that whatever we are faced with, the Lord will watch over us with His presence and not require of us more than we can endure. After the tribulation there will be a battle of Armageddon where the armies of the world will gather to make war against Jesus. The Lord will destroy the military powers of the world and purify the earth with fire as He prepares this realm for the glorious city New Jerusalem and the millennial.
Heaven and hell are literal places and both are eternal. There will be a final resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death. In the White Throne judgment, every person will stand before God and give an account of their life. There will be a 1000 year reign of Christ in the new city of Jerusalem on the new cleansed earth and after this all saints will live with God in heaven forever and all the lost including the devil and his demons will suffer in the lake of fire forever.
